  • Community: Getting Involved

C.C. Veterinary Hospital has always believed in giving back to the community. Whether that comes in the form of financial support or education, we want to contribute to the community that makes us so proud to call home.

We are involved in many community organizations and provide services to our community. We:

    • Provide pro bono care to the city’s police dog (current dog is Stryker…previous ones have been Thor and Barco) and other local service dogs
    • Support multiple 4-H projects
    • Support our local FOP
    • Sponsor a bereavement book the local funeral home distributes to the families after a funeral
    • Support the schools in various ways. We give talks to the kids about animals, advertise in their yearbook, and support several of their functions throughout the year
    • Provide opportunities for high school and college internships
    • Are a member of the Midwest Assistance Dogs
    • Donate to a yearly silent auction held at PROFED Credit Union to raise money for Riley Children’s Hospital
    • Active member of the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce
    • Active member of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce

We are actively involved in the following veterinary associations:

    • AVMA ( American Veterinary Medical Association)
    • IVMA (Indiana Veterinary Medical Association)
    • NEIVMA (Northeast Indiana Veterinary Medical Association)
  • What to Expect

When you are looking for a veterinary care clinic you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service.  We at C.C. Veterinary Hospital in Columbia City IN have assembled an expert team of veterinary professionals to bring you the best possible healthcare for your pet.  We have a state of the art veterinary facility, which is clean, comfortable, and efficient. We have in-house laboratory testing, digital x-rays, ultrasound capabilities, digital dental x-rays and therapeutic laser available to evaluate and treat your pet. Call 260-244-5822 to schedule an appointment and we will find a time that is convenient for you.

Once a year, or twice yearly for a senior pet, you should take your pet in for a check-up.  This will include a full physical exam, including checking general health, ears, eyes, skin, mouth and teeth, and other body systems.  Our doctors will check the health of your pet from head to tail!

Bring in any medical history you have of your pet when you come to our vet clinic.  It's best to keep a journal of your pet's health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts.  If you have something like this, share it with our team.  If not, let us know everything that you think will be important. We will work with whatever information you currently have.

In some circumstances, Dr. Quinn will refer you to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as internal medicine, dermatology, ophthalmology or surgery.
  • Payment Options

    1. Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill.

    2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover) checks and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.

    3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well.  C.C. Veterinary Hospital understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program. It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into 6 monthly installments.  You can either apply at our hospital, where we'll call in your application over the phone for immediate approval, or apply yourself online at:  www.CareCredit.com.
